Hi! I am Mae. Born and raised in the Philippines.

Daughter. Sister. Pet owner. Friend.

Finished my studies in two Catholic schools in Cavite City. Braved the streets of Manila, reviewed and took the CPA board exams. Wasn't lucky enough to pass. Worked as an auditor, reconciling inter-bank accounts, and assessing information systems, and performing back office functions. Met a lot of good friends along the way.

Found the love of my life in high school. Migrated to the US and got married to him 10 years after our graduation. Am a proud military wife. Am mothering my husband as a full-time job. Enjoy being a homemaker despite its challenges (despite the fact that I was not obliged by my parents to do household chores while I was still living with them). Am not totally undomesticated, though. Cook well, according to my husband (and he eats pretty much anything I serve); sometimes believe him, sometimes don't. Am using my oc-ness to keep order in our home. Am looking forward to having our own happy family and raising cute & smart kids.

Have hands good for crocheting, cross-stitching, sewing little stuff and polishing their own nails, but not for drawing or anything of that sort. Have had a passion for writing. Was a journalist in school, one time or another. Dreamt of being professional too, still do. Blog as a hobby.

Also enjoy reading, swimming and playing badminton for recreation. Love to travel. Can live on French fries, popcorn and movies. Am addicted to Coke, McDonald's, my iPhone, my hubby, Heroes and blogging. Am beginning to love Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series at the moment, love that Bella is sarcastic and brutally frank like me. Don't worry, I don't bite!
